Rick Hardy has been practicing the art of Taxidermy for over 20 years and is world renowned for his fabulous trophy mounts. He has also created a trademark line of fish replicas and artwork that has been copywrited and is known as Unique Species. These realistic looking creatures have a life of their own and have fooled many a tourist. They make great conversation peices that you may have caught a glimpse of in seafood restaurants and waterfront bars all over the world.

Rick specializes in "Catch and Release Mounts" or you can mount a fish you caught or saw in the past-all we need is the size and type of fish (a photo helps). We have created fish mounts for all different types of fish and marine species from all over the world. Ranging from 4 ounces all the way up to 2 tons.

Rick has taxidermied and created so many different types of fish that it is nearly impossible to show them all here on this website but you will find some prime examples of his work. Of course, seeing them in person is the only way you can truly appreciate the delicate artwork and attention to detail that Rick painstakingly puts into all of his mounts.
